What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with investigators and ancillary departments to identify research procedures and budget estimates
- Develop and negotiate complex clinical trial budgets for industry, NIH, and investigator-initiated research
- Monitor study accounts, reconcile accounts receivable and payments, and manage invoicing
- Analyze financial data to determine performance and project financial probabilities
- Conduct Medicare coverage analysis and collaborate with the Institutional Review Board for approvals

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience/GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in billing, accounting, finance, budgeting, financial analysis, or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical research setting
- Strong understanding of financial aspects of clinical trials, including budget preparation and funding management
- Experience in pre-award processes such as grant proposals and contract negotiations

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Direct experience in a clinical research environment
- Familiarity with clinical trial management systems
- Prior involvement in training and educating personnel
- Experience in process improvement related to budgeting and clinical trials finance
