What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support Principal Investigators in the activation, execution, and management of clinical research studies and protocols
- Assist in assessing study feasibility, determining participation eligibility, and establishing guidelines for clinical data collection
- Drive participant recruitment, enrollment, tracking, and data collection for clinical research studies
- Maintain compliance with federal and state laws, sponsor guidance, and university policies related to clinical research
- Serve as a resource providing expert advice on clinical research for the research team and other stakeholders

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Active clinical licensure required for performing duties directly related to clinical research
- Current CITI credentials for Human Subjects Protections, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and Clinical Research Coordinator
- Understanding of IRB requirements and human subjects protection regulations
- Ability to interpret and apply federal and state regulations, sponsor guidance, and compliance notices accurately
- Strong clinical competency and experience in managing clinical research activities from initiation to closeout

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working as a Clinical Research Nurse or in a related clinical research role
- Familiarity with multiple data capture/retrieval systems and health care delivery systems
- Previous involvement in developing best practice guidance and work aids for clinical research teams
- Additional certifications in clinical research or related fields
- Experience in managing complex participant interactions in a clinical setting
