      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Assist in the administration of Utilization Management functions, including workflow organization and prioritization
      - Communicate with payers to gain approvals for admissions through clinical review and appeal processes
      - Handle inbound faxes and ensure timely and appropriate responses based on payer requirements
      - Document relevant information in EMR/EPIC according to department standards
      - Collaborate with UM nurses and other team members to optimize communication and workflow processes

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or GED required
      - Minimum of 1 year of clerical support experience
      - Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
      - Proficiency in documenting and managing patient information in EMR/EPIC systems
      - Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in utilization management or care coordination
      - Familiarity with payer requirements and clinical documentation processes
      - Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
