What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide clinical triage support by demonstrating knowledge of patient growth and development
- Respond to patient requests via telephone under the direction of the physician, documenting all interactions in the EMR
- Review and update patient data, including clinical updates and medication lists, during each phone encounter
- Schedule patient appointments and referrals while providing education on medications and treatments as directed by the physician
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA guidelines while documenting all information in the EMR

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current certification/license from an accredited medical assisting or nursing organization
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Ability to work in a HIPAA-compliant environment with necessary ergonomic equipment
- High-speed internet service for remote work capabilities

- Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in triage or patient care
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- Additional certifications in relevant medical assisting or nursing fields
