      Job summary

      Eastwood Primary Care Centre is looking for an enthusiastic and proficient Clinical Summariser to support our friendly and dynamic team. If you are meticulous to details, hardworking and passionate about providing a high standard of care to our patients, we would like to hear from you.

      Main duties of the job

      We value precision, attention to detail and being able to work independently while being part of a supportive and patient-focused team. The candidate must have experience in a healthcare setting and be familiar with clinical I.T. systems. Knowledge of medical terminology is essential.

      Main duties include:Accurately summarising clinical notes and patient records into electronic medical records,ensuring all information is correctly inputted and formatted in compliance with healthcare standards, collaborate with clinicians to clarify any details required for accurate record-keeping, maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations and provide additional administrative support as needed.

      This position operates on an ad hoc hours basis, meaning your working hours will fluctuate depending on the demands of the workload. You may be called upon to work during peak times or when additional support is required, with notice given in advance. This flexible working arrangement makes the role ideal for someone looking for variability in their schedule, while still providing meaningful contribution to the team.

To provide practice support to the QOF framework across a number of domains. The main responsibilities of the post-holder will be to summarise and read code relevant information from patients clinical records and clinical correspondence received into the practice computer system, working strictly in accordance with the practice notes summarising protocol.
