- Secondary School Diploma or GED equivalent
- At least one (1) year of experience in customer/client service work
- Experience working in an environment where there is a large emphasis on rules and guidelines
- Experience working in a high-volume fast-paced environment while managing strict deadlines and changing priorities
- Experience managing confidential materials or information
- At least five (5) years of active driving experience
- A valid Class 4 (restricted) BC driver’s license or be able to obtain a Class 4 (restricted) BC driver’s license within 6 months of hire
- A current Driving Abstract (to be provided with application). This must be added as an attachment to the online application
- A valid Class 4 (restricted) BC driver's license at the time of hire
- Experience working in a legal setting such as Court Services, Judiciary, Law Office or Justice Sector
- Experience with records management
- Experience in administrative work in a professional office environment
- Successful completion of a Customer Service training program
- Graduation from defensive driving course or recognized driving training program with experience transporting people
- Experience in word processing, spreadsheet, and other current MS Office suite applications
- May be required to work flexible hours and undertake overtime on short notice if required
- Must be able to regularly lift documents, books, boxes, etc. of up to 50lbs
The Team
Our dedicated Document Management Clerks (DMC’s) team is an established group of five who work closely together to ensure judges and legal staff are supported and best able to do their court work. Their strong communication and teamwork create a warm and supportive environment, making it a great place to collaborate and grow!
The Role
As a Document Management Clerk in the Vancouver Courthouse, you'll manage document deliveries, mail, dry cleaning, chamber’s moves, driving duties and many other essential tasks while enjoying a dynamic work environment with plenty of interaction and activity. Your contributions are key to supporting our judges and ensuring efficient operations. If you have a clean driving record and are willing to obtain a Class 4 restricted license, we'd be glad to have you on board!

This position is excluded from union membership.
This is a temporary opportunity until 07/25/2025. This position may be extended or become permanent.
