- Thorough review of the file in a short time frame.
- Accurate final closing docs.
- Clear communication with various individuals (title companies, branches, other departments).
- Responsible for the auditing of loan files in accordance with NFM Lending guidelines as well as Federal and State regulations to ensure the loan meets requirements.
- Must input and audit loan data to ensure that accurate and complete loan files are produced.
- Must ensure that all closing documentation is accurate and complete.
- Review Title, Contracts of Sale, GFE’s, TIL’s, Homeowners, Appraisals, and Photo Id’s.
- Perform the final Compliance Ease check on each loan to be sure we close in compliance with state and Federal High Cost tests.
- Review all final HUDs prior to release of docs and cure any and all tolerance violations on the HUD prior to closing.
- Work closely with members of the Processing/Underwriting team and the title company to ensure that all conditions are correct and have been met prior to scheduling of final closing.
- Effectively communicate, work with, and build relationships with all levels of constituents including culturally and linguistically diverse staff members and external candidates and/or vendors, while operating in a fast-paced customer service driven environment.
- This position may require occasional overtime and travel.
- Additional tasks as assigned.

Position Summary:
The Closer II is responsible for auditing the loan files for the purpose of preparing Closing documents. The Closer II works closely with all involved parties to ensure timely and complete closing packages.
