CNC Machine Operator
Location: Plymouth, Michigan

Hours: 2nd shift 4:30pm- 3am
Direct Hire Pay Rate Level Range:

• Level 1: $18.50 - $20.50 per hour
• Level 2: $21 - $23 per hour
• Level 3: $24 - $32 per hour

Summary:
Our client is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join their Production team in Plymouth, Michigan. The successful candidate will operate computer numerical control (CNC) mill machining centers to perform machine functions such as boring, facing, and threading parts of metallic workpieces.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate complex machinery and utilize various types of manual and CNC shop equipment to perform machining operations on materials including but not limited to steel and aluminum.
• Calibrate machines prior to production and ensure regular checks and cleaning.
• Work from specifications, drawings, blueprints, and verbal instructions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, safety rules, and procedural manuals.
• Follow all preventative maintenance and safety guidelines.
• Work to meet production goals.
• Rework and calibrate production parts and machine tooling as required.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of industry, machinery, and technique.
• Provide required reports and/or correspondence including production and quality logs.

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• One to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
