Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

2nd shift - 1pm-9:30pm - M-F

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC machine operator or entry-level CNC machinist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a horizontal machine to machine large pieces of steel to precise specifications. You will produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine, performing program prove-outs, maintaining equipment, adhering to quality and safety standards, and keeping detailed part records.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate horizontal machine to machine large pieces of steel
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine machining requirements
• Adjust machine settings to ensure proper operation and quality of finished products
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Troubleshoot machine issues and perform routine maintenance as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating machines
• Understanding of CNC programming and machine operation
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Knowledge of machining techniques and tools
• Strong attention to detail and precision
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $54080.00/yr.
