Job Description

- Participates in the delivery of health, safety and nutrition services in the context of an integrated health team.
- Supports the direct environmental health/ facilities professional development coaching.
- Offers prevention and intervention strategies to program staff to improve the quality classroom and home base services.
- Monitors and analyzes the status of students’ Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) services, environmental safety, active classroom supervision, health, oral health and nutrition services.
- Monitors and provides Training and Technical Assistance related to the documentation and delivery of program services so that our program is in compliance and delivering high quality services related to:
- CACFP regulations/ outcomes
- Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS) Child Care Licensing Regulations
- HS Performance Standards
- Infant/Toddler Environment Rating Scale/Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale and Home Visit Rating Scales indicators of qualities
- Utilizes program consultants to expand consultative and professional development coaching systems/ services as required for State Regulations, Head Start Performance Standards and National Association for the Education of Young Children criteria for quality improvements
- Completes Construct Coaching documentation in Construct.
- Assists Director in planning, developing, and monitoring program services, policies and procedures.
- Contributes to the continuous improvement of program services, collaborates with partnership personnel, public school personnel, Workforce Registry Feed the Future Population-Based Survey agencies, and other programs to keep the program’s quality improvement efforts moving forward. • Works under general direction, according to agency mission, philosophy, Core Values, Codes of Ethics, and goals.
Southwest Human Development (SWHD) is for an individual to support the delivery of health and wellness services for Early Head Start (EHS), EHS Child Care Partnerships (EHSCCP), and Head Start (HS) programs. This dynamic role that provides tools to Teachers, Teacher Assistants, and Home Visitors on how to identify, provide prevention and intervention solutions, and monitor the physical health and nutrition of the students ages birth to five.
Additionally, this role participates in the collaboration and integration of the integrated services team for high quality early childhood development, mental health, health, nutrition, safe environments and disability services with both inter- and intra-agency services. All in support of our One Child, One Family, One Team philosophy. Job Duties:

Bachelors
Experience
Required 2 years
2 years of experience in ECE Program delivery that includes family engagement, health, wellness, DHS licensing and safety.
Licenses & Certifications

CPR and First Aid Cert
Food Handler's Card
