Coach instructors to build their presentation, classroom management, course development, analytical, and documentation skills
Advise on quarterly goal-setting and achievement
Provides feedback and coaching sessions for team members
Partner with VTD leadership to plan annual retreats, professional development, and other team activities
Review, analyze and QA Tableau training data (attendance, waitlists, NPS, utilization) to inform strategies to address learner and organizational needs
Support the recruitment process including mentoring and onboarding new hires
Responsible for schedule creation and process improvement
Plan schedule uploads with Learning Portal administrator
Modify session schedules as needed to meet client demand, support custom training requests, and accommodate unplanned PTO and other unanticipated schedule changes
Triage Sandbox issues (research copy quality, pull copies, work with bot team)
Nurture relationships with other Customer Training leaders and other customer stakeholders to drive service alignment and promote customer success
Foster an environment of transparency and collaboration both within and across VT & D and the Customer Training teams
Partner with IT to enhance Sandbox quality, availability, and timeliness, and to develop process and documentation for use of Learning Portal and other technologies
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years in a similar healthcare or technology environment preferred
Previous people leadership experience preferred
Understanding of (or desire and ability to learn) medical terminology, EHRs, and US healthcare landscape
Experience working with cross-functional groups and teams to achieve common goals
Proven history of improving workflows and processes
Highly skilled in analytic, problem-solving and decision making abilities
Experience with athenahealth products and services a plus
Effective time management, logical problem solving and analytical skills with a demonstrated attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to lead and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

Manager, Virtual Training
The Virtual Classroom team facilitates classes and workshops for over 34,000 athenaOne users a year, enabling them to achieve optimal adoption and maximum value from our services. We are looking to hire a driven, energetic self-starter to lead this team and take our strategy and processes to the next level.
The Manager, Virtual Training is responsible for leading a team of trainers who are responsible for delivering engaging and interactive classes remotely for the athenaOne client base. This person will support their team by leading team meetings and regularly reviewing individual’s customer feedback and satisfaction metrics, identifying trends and implementing new ways to engage our customers through training.
The Manager will partner with Virtual Training and Design (VTD) leadership team to plan and develop processes, facilitate project completion, and identify opportunities for growth and collaboration across VTD.
