What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Code in Clintegrity using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes according to Medicare guidelines with applicable modifiers for each surgical episode
- Utilize the Automated Pending List to retrieve missing documents and reconcile to Clintegrity WL
- Answer questions from centers and physicians regarding coding and documentation
- Provide coverage for teammates as needed
- Maintain current coding credentials and complete required Continuing Education Units

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must possess one of the following credentials: Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Outpatient Coder (COC), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), or Certified Ambulatory Surgery Center Coder (CASCC)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in multi-specialty ASC coding
- Strong understanding of Medicare coding guidelines
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and healthcare providers
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Additional coding certifications beyond the required credentials
- Experience with Clintegrity and other coding software
- Previous experience in a surgical center or similar healthcare environment
- Strong analytical skills for resolving coding discrepancies
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional development in coding practices
