What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as an internal resource for professional service coding and documentation education within the employer
- Conduct medical record audits to ensure compliance with regulations and institutional standards
- Provide coding and documentation support to providers through phone calls, site visits, and presentations
- Analyze data, communicate findings, and facilitate improvement efforts within the coding practice
- Collaborate with clinical practice managers and coding leadership teams on educational initiatives

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in physician/professional service coding
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Certification as a CPC (Certified Professional Coder) is required
- Extensive knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 guidelines and medical terminology
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certification as a CPMA (Certified Professional Medical Auditor) preferred or to be obtained within two years of hire
