What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with execution of daily activities of the National Quality Assurance program
- Perform first-level quality audits on vendor coding results and Care Delivery coding teams
- Support various coding initiatives, including concurrent review and retrospective coding quality reviews
- Identify issues and trends in coding and documentation affecting coding accuracy
- Recommend process improvements and provide feedback on audit results

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED (or higher)
- Coding certification required (CPC, COC, CIC, CCS, CCS-P, or RHIT; CPC-A or CCA not acceptable)
- 4+ years of recent experience in ICD-10-CM coding, preferably in a Managed Care setting
- 2+ years of recent Medicare Risk Adjustment experience (HCC coding) with knowledge of CMS-HCC model
- 1+ years of recent experience in a coding auditor role auditing other coders' work

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree
- CRC (Certified Risk Coder) in addition to required coding certification
- Inpatient coding experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
