      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review medical record documentation and ensure accurate diagnosis and procedure code assignment
      - Work with healthcare professionals to obtain necessary clarification for accurate coding
      - Assign accurate CPT®, HCPCS Level II, and ICD-10-CM medical codes
      - Maintain coding certification by completing continuing education requirements
      - Abide by HIPAA regulations to protect sensitive health information

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma or equivalent
      - CPC, CCS-P, CCS, or CCA certification
      - 2+ years of abstract coding for physician services
      - Expertise in ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS II coding and coding guidelines
      - Ability to work independently with high autonomy

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Abstract coding experience in multiple specialties
      - 3-5 years of coding experience
      - Extensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS II coding and coding guidelines
