What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Abstract provider documentation and assign appropriate ICD and CPT codes based on clinical documentation
- Ensure compliance with official coding guidelines and regulations from government and insurance carriers
- Maintain a high level of accuracy in typing and 10-key speed

- Continuously learn and apply knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certification in CPC-A, CPC, CCS-P, or CCA
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding guidelines
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
