Cold Header Operator
Location: Plymouth, MI

Pay Rate: $24 – $33/hour (based on experience)
Shifts Available:
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Our client, a growing manufacturer in Plymouth, MI, is seeking experienced Cold Header Operators to join their team on 2nd or 3rd shift. This is a direct hire opportunity with highly competitive pay and full benefits starting on your first day.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience operating cold heading machinery in a high-volume production environment and a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate cold heading machines to produce fasteners or precision metal parts

Inspect parts during production to ensure they meet required specifications

Perform tool changes and machine adjustments as needed

Troubleshoot issues and perform basic maintenance to minimize downtime

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications:
Previous experience operating cold heading or related forming machinery required

Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with micrometers, calipers, and gauges

Ability to read blueprints and follow production specifications

Team-oriented with a strong attention to detail

Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned shift hours
