      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Manage and collect on accounts receivables for all insurance carrier plan services
      - Research and resolve payment issues/errors for insurance balances
      - Complete claim corrections and coding research requests to manage outstanding accounts receivable
      - Handle retro-authorizations for multiple payers
      - Work closely with various departments to obtain necessary information for resolving outstanding accounts receivable

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or equivalent
      - Minimum of 3 years of medical office or medical billing/collections experience in a hospital or centralized billing setting
      - Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-9/10 codes
      - Good working knowledge of insurance explanation of benefits (EOB) and remittance codes
      - Solid skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - 4+ years of experience in a centralized billing setting
      - Payer-focused collections experience
      - In-depth knowledge of insurance billing guidelines, including Commercial, Medicare Part A and B, Medicaid, and Managed Care plans
      - Experience with specialty billing, collections, and denials
