What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Receive and review information from credit reports and contact various credit sources to ensure completeness of credit packages or customer credit applications
- Assess the risk of offering credit to new and existing customers, approving credit limits within determined thresholds
- Accept payments on accounts, resolve questions and problems, and research misapplied payments
- Retrieve and review billing system reports to identify delinquent accounts and contact customers to bring accounts to a current status
- Prepare reports reflecting the status of credit and collection activity, and document activity for assigned accounts

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Intermediate MS Excel skills
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and interact with customers professionally
- Strong math aptitude and accuracy with numbers
- Minimum of 2 years of collections, billing, customer service, or related experience
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
