What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and teach undergraduate courses in weather analysis, forecasting, and related areas of meteorology
- Engage in curricular and program development to enhance the educational experience

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Ph.D. in Geography, Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, or a closely related discipline by August 2025
- Demonstrated ability and interest in teaching courses in weather analysis and forecasting
- Strong focus on student success and knowledge of relevant educational practices
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Commitment to the principles outlined in Virginia Tech's Principles of Community
