This is your chance to join the C&A team as a Color Specialist (m/f/d)!

      As a Color Specialist, you will be a key internal partner, representing the color team by providing expert guidance, delivering timely solutions to color-related queries, supporting lab dip approvals, and ensuring excellence in color management.

      Your responsibilities

      • Evaluating lab dip submissions and bulk materials against standards for accurate and timely review
      • Investigating and resolving all color process-related inquiries and issues
      • Maintaining accurate data in IT tools (e.g., PLM) and organizing filing systems for validation and reporting
      • Collaborating with suppliers, mills, and internal teams to identify and solve color approval issues
      • Researching market trends and competitor benchmarks to implement color best practices
      • Preparing and managing meetings, presentations, and workshops to support business needs
      • Developing and maintaining color manuals, training materials, and certification programs
      • Managing color projects, implementing new technologies, and driving KPI-based performance improvements

      What you bring

      • Minimum of 3 years of industry experience, preferably in apparel retail, with a background in color management
      • University degree in Textile Technology with experience in color management or an equivalent qualification
      • Strong knowledge of color, color theory, colorimetry, textiles, and dyeing/printing processes
      • Exceptional ability to differentiate colors by eye (Munsell 100 – superior color vision)
      • Solid understanding of fabrics, garments, and best practices in color management
      • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
      • Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities
      • Proficiency in MS Office, PDM/PLM systems, and color measurement tools (e.g., spectrophotometers, color tools software)
      • Fluency in English
