      About the Unit

      Yara Clean Ammonia (YCA) is a global segment within Yara with the objective to commercialize, develop and capture growth opportunities within clean hydrogen and ammonia production, transport, market and distribution. The unit includes activities related to Upstream Projects &Technology, Commercial development of New Markets for Ammonia, Trade & Shipping, Product & Portfolio Management, and Central Expert and Support functions. To fully develop the business potential, the segment will also explore partnerships and collaboration with external parties, while ensuring the important role that ammonia plays in Yara’s integrated business model.

      Yara Clean Ammonia is looking for a Commercial Analyst - Bunkering & Market Development who will be Involved and support in projects to commercialize Clean Ammonia as a Marine Fuel working with Shipowners, pilot projects and branch organizations.

      The position will report to VP Bunkering and Market Development. The preferred location is Oslo

      Responsibilities

      • Promote Clean Ammonia as a Marine Fuel.
      • Drive logistic modelling for Ammonia bunkering distribution including analyzing demand needs in ports and in various maritime segments, mainly shipping segments.
      • Support on identifying demand needs in designated ports and to follow up on market data in designated regions in close collaboration with VP Bunkering - Port Relationships & Regulations.
      • Responsible for analysing the future market for renewable and low carbon ammonia in the maritime market.
      • Identifying potential candidates to form partnerships downstream in the maritime market to develop the bunkering infrastructure.
      • Responsible for developing and maintaining competitor analyses for the maritime industry.
      • Advise on regulatory measures that could increase the value of green ammonia in the maritime industry in close collaboration with the Product Management and Regulatory team.
      • Responsible for ensuring and maintaining close collaboration with internal stakeholders including Yara International to analyze the market for ammonia in the maritime industry.
      • Present findings to management on regular basis.
      • Participate in conferences and present representing YCA where relevant and as agreed within both the bunkering team as well as overall in YCA representing the maritime segment.

      Profile

      • BSc degree in Shipping and/or Logistics
      • Strong analytical skills
      • A clear interest in the technical aspects of shipping will be viewed as a plus
      • 3 years experience in Shipping and/or logistics is an advantage
      • Strong interpersonal skills with experience in working across cultural and geographical boundaries

      • Fluency in English is required.
