- Keep it clean and safe.

- Preparation
- Control equipment and gear before loading
- Complete and deliver packing slip.
- Implementation
- Implement the plan according to instructions from the dive supervisor.
- Notify any deviations of any scope to the dive supervisor.
- Responsibly represent UWS on projects.
- Become an overall experience commercial diver
- Gain technical skills on the job (mechanical/welding)

- Has a valid Commercial Surface supplied diving certificate (NDC certificate is a plus)
- EU Citizen or Permitted to work in the EU (with a European work visa) this has to be in your possession as we are not able to support you with obtaining this.
- Willing to relocate in relative close proximity to our UWS Headquarter, located in Terneuzen, Netherlands
- Not having a problem with regular travelling worldwide as most of our projects are abroad.
- Flexible mindset when it comes to working hours.

Commercial Diver
to join our UWS operations team in Terneuzen, The Netherlands.
What will you be doing
In this position, your work will include maintenance and repair projects on vessels and offshore structures. As the shipping industry is 24/7, we do not have a typical working day. You will not be working on this alone, even though the work of our teams requires a high level of independence, as you will have support from our Dive Supervisors and operations team. For us to be the best match, we expect you to have an understanding of the shipping industry and experience from working with steel construction/mechanical is a plus. As an ideal candidate, you have gained experience in these areas and have an NDC-diving certificate.

In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers on their ships worldwide where needed. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel approximately +50%, of your time.
