What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review, approve, and process insurance applications in line with underwriting guidelines
- Demonstrate understanding of commercial products, pricing, and coverages
- Negotiate and communicate effectively with the agency force, including regular in-person visits
- Train and support team members, including new employees and trainees
- Utilize systems and communication skills to support overall corporate objectives

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree, formal Insurance education, or equivalent work experience
- At least 5-8 years of successful Commercial Lines Underwriting experience
- Associate in Underwriting (AU), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), or similar designation
- Ability to perform occasional field and overnight travel within the employer's territory
- Valid driver's license and adherence to Company Fleet Safety Guidelines
