What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners to support engagement efforts
- Develop and implement outreach and communication strategies across multiple sectors
- Lead initiatives to share best practices and findings related to heat mitigation strategies
- Support data collection processes and coordinate research assistant activities
- Participate in meetings and collaborate with the Community Advisory Board and research teams

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or additional experience may be substituted
- Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience in technical or administrative roles
- Ability to effectively communicate and establish relationships with diverse community representatives
- Willingness to travel regularly to Calexico and throughout Imperial County
- Background check and Livescan (fingerprint) clearance required prior to hiring

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in Public Health or a related health and/or social sciences field
- At least 2 years of experience in community-based research or outreach, particularly in Imperial County
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
