- Proficiency in multimedia design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro).
- Experience in graphic design, video production, and photography.
- Familiarity with SEO, influencer marketing, and digital advertising.
- Knowledge of media monitoring or PR software.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of multimedia projects.
- Proficient writing and editing skills.
- Attention to detail with the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with strict deadlines.
- Ability to work with third-party vendors, etc.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Valid driver's license and must comply with the Company's Driving Policy.
- Fluency in English/Spanish (written and verbal), preferred.
- Assist in building and executing social media strategies through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification;
- Create, schedule, and monitor engaging content across social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook).
- Engage with the audience by responding to comments, messages and fostering a sense of community.
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
- Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and other communication materials.
- Plan and execute PR campaigns to promote brand initiatives and manage public perception.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of social media and PR campaigns to provide actionable insights;
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging platforms and best practices.
- Assist in crisis communication and reputation management when necessary.
- Spearhead and manage special projects to achieve organizational objectives.
- Editing and producing engaging photo and video content for social media, website, and other communication channels
- Coordinate and send out all social media and Constant Contact emails, including newsletters, announcements, and event invitation;
- Create and execute editorial calendars;
- Collaborate with various departments to gather content and ensure accurate and engaging communications;
- Monitor and report metrics for SEO, email campaigns, website and other digital media performance
- Spearhead and manage special projects to achieve organizational objectives.
- Ensure consistency and adherence to the organization's branding guidelines across all communication materials
- Source and edit written and visual content for communication platforms, e.g, website, social media, public relations, and e-communications, in support of company strategies;
- Assist with the writing, editing and distribution of EPE’s monthly electronic and printed customer newsletter, including social media support by scheduling and creating content, as needed;
- Complies with all applicable Company policies, procedures and code of ethics as well as all applicable governmental laws and regulations to include employment, safety and environmental standards and regulations.
- Perform other related tasks that are not included but are within the context of the duties defined.

STARTING SALARY: $59,800 - $92,000 Salary is commensurate with experience.JOB FAMILY SUMMARY PURPOSE:
Under the supervision of the Director-Corporate Communications & Marketing, the Communications Specialist’s purpose is to enhance and protect the brand’s image, increase visibility and establish meaningful connections with audiences, internal and external stakeholders and the media. In this role, the specialist will also lead and contribute to special internal projects with meaningful internal communications strategies, or collaborative initiatives that bolster company culture. By strategically managing social media platforms, public relations efforts and community outreach, the specialist plays a key role in shaping the organization’s voice, fostering trust, and promoting a positive reputation.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Graphic Design, OR related field required.
EXPERIENCE:
0 - 3 years or more of experience required.
