      We are currently recruiting to an Adult Consultant Psychiatrist position in the Adult Autism Service, based at The Broad Street Centre, Morland Road, Dagenham, RM10 9HU.

      This is a new, fixed-term for 12 months, part-time post - 8 Programmed Activities (PAs) post with 5.5 Direct Clinical Contact activities (DCC) and 2.5 Supporting Professional Activities (SPAs).

      The post holder will work alongside comprehensive multidisciplinary team and provide care to the adult (above 18 years of age) residents across our London Boroughs (Barking and Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge, and Waltham Forest).

      You will be expected to:

      Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to adult people with mental health needs, especially Autism Spectrum Disorder, across Barking and Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge, and Waltham Forest.

      Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team

      Work directly with adults and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external adult mental health providers and acute hospitals

      Participate in the on-call rota frequency is currently 1:50, with a 3% of basic salary, Category A on-call supplement (pro-rata).

      Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member whilst allowing them to work with their own initiative

      Work alongside the MDT.

      Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies.
