About the Team:
Lambeth Housings Resident Engagement Team deliver services across the borough, working with residents to empower communities and build better neighbourhoods through collaborative working. Our aim is to empower our residents to have a voice, be involved in decision making and taking the lead with community provisions to improve their communities.
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Community Facilities Officer to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on local communities by effectively managing and delivering community facilities and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Management & Delivery: Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of community facilities, ensuring they meet the needs of local residents and are operated efficiently, while ensuring compliance with council procedures and policies.
Partnership Working: Build and maintain strong partnerships with external stakeholders, connecting in with opportunities for communities.
Leases & Strategy: Assist in the creation, negotiation, and review of leases for community spaces, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and also support the creation of a community assets strategy and policy.
Project Support: Provide support in the planning and delivery of community-focused projects, ensuring timely and successful outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and communication skills, with a passion for community development and a commitment to delivering high-quality services. Additionally, if you have experience in facilities & events management, project support and report writing, we would love to hear from you.
