      Summary/Objective

      The Manager of Corporate Accounts and Distribution is a position responsible for prospecting, developing, and obtaining sales and service contracts for Companion Animal Health products with corporate and multi-practice accounts, ensure proper continued contact, satisfaction and service with those accounts and to manage all distribution relationships in North America. Responsibilities also include the authority to recommend policy for managing both distributor relationships as well as corporate veterinary accounts. The position reports directly to the Vice Presidents of Sales and works closely with Sales leadership to utilize the best assets to drive new customer acquisition and training for both customers and distribution representatives.

      ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

      • Develop a strategy for obtaining relationships with potential corporate customers, determine their corporate goals and needs as they relate to Companion Animal Health, and obtain sales contracts for Companion Products.
      • Negotiate sales contracts with potential corporate account customers.
      • Maintain the long-term relationship with corporate customers ensuring customer satisfaction and attentive customer service.
      • Utilize customer relationships to add new products into corporate accounts.
      • Work with Companion Executive team to develop overall successful sales and marketing strategies for all aspects of the business.
      • Work with the Companion Marketing team to develop Corporate and Distributor appropriate materials for best use cases.
      • Responsible for direct relationships with all distributor partners and resellers of Companion Products. Expected to develop and implement plans for successful attainment of sales goals through those partnerships.
      • Work with Sales, Marketing and Medical to develop sales and training programs for distribution sales representatives and distribution marketing teams.
      • Organizes and coordinates services provided by other professionals as they relate to animal health.
      • Participates in administrative decision making and recommends policies and procedures.

      Work Environment

      This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

      Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

      This is a full-time position, and regular hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

      Travel

      Some travel is required for this job, approximately 25%. Most travel is out of the area and would require an overnight stay(s).

      Required Education and Experience

      • 5 years in a leadership role in veterinary sales and/or marketing.
      • Relevant administrative experience in veterinary sales and contract administration.
      • As a senior leader of the company, incumbent must demonstrate the ability to lead change, have effective communication, and manage high-performance teams.
      • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
      • Demonstrated skill in developing and maintaining productive work teams.
      • Ability to demonstrate personal integrity in all interactions.
      • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and networking skills with large groups as well as with individuals are essential.
      • Ability to effectively present information.
