      Position Summary/Job Duties:

We are looking for a companion for grandma. She is pysically active and is very engaged in the world around her but has no short-term memory so needs a companion to do things with her in the community. Grandma is a former professer of ballet dance and has a keen interest in all the arts. She enjoys young people and activities around town. We hope that the companion would enjoy doing things like online yoga or other classes with her (either at home or in the community). She does not require any special assistance dressing, toileting or with other ADLs, however, she needs reminders for everything. The companion will need to help her organize and maintain her schedule.

      Qualifications:

Grandma has a strong intelletual interest in the arts and movement activies and would connect well with someone who has an interest in dance, yoga or art or music. Though her current needs are low, a backgournd or interest in nursing or physical/occupational/speech therapy would be an asset. Patience is required.
