      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct job evaluations and market analysis to establish appropriate salary ranges for various positions
      - Gather data from compensation surveys and analyze market trends using spreadsheet and data analysis techniques
      - Develop and implement competitive compensation plans and policies
      - Advise leadership on relevant federal, state, and local compensation regulations
      - Collaborate with department leads to ensure accurate and timely completion of salary adjustments

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
      - Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Compensation Specialist or similar role
      - Knowledge of California laws and regulations related to compensation
      - Proficiency in HRIS systems, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
      - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Previous experience with Workday
      - SHRM-CP or PHR certification
      - Working knowledge of Tableau
      - Certified Compensation Professional
