- Perform a variety of esthetic services including facials, waxing, and advanced skincare treatments in alignment with spa protocols and licensing standards.
- Provide day-to-day leadership and support to spa providers at both resorts, including coordinating schedules, providing training and product knowledge on all services to team members, and offering input on performance.
- Ensure providers adhere to professional service standards and protocols for both male and female guests while maintaining a safe and inclusive environment.
- Deliver exceptional guest service by listening to individual needs, customizing treatments, answering pre- and post-care questions, and promoting spa services and retail products.
- Maintain accurate treatment documentation using spa software and ensure timely room setup and turnover.
- Follow all sanitation, PPE, and OSHA/HAZMAT safety guidelines; report any unsafe conditions or equipment issues.
- Support spa cleanliness and operations by restocking rooms, maintaining treatment areas, and complying with linen and inventory guidelines.
- Respond to and resolve guest concerns within scope of authority; escalate issues when appropriate and ensure prompt reporting of safety concerns or guest incidents.
- Serve as the lead on shift in the absence of management and help drive a culture of wellness, professionalism, and continuous improvement across both properties.
- Maintain punctuality, professional appearance, and a positive, guest-focused attitude at all times.
- Valid Utah Master Esthetician License (required)
- Minimum of 3 years of esthetics experience, preferably in a luxury spa environment
- Prior leadership or training experience within a spa setting highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of skincare, ingredients, and retail product sales
- Outstanding communication, guest service, and leadership skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with availability to travel between both resort locations as needed

Job Summary:
The Complex Lead Esthetician is responsible for delivering professional skincare services and ensuring the consistent performance, education, and development of the esthetics team across both resort spas. This role assists in training, treatment protocol adherence, product knowledge, and retail sales strategy while maintaining the highest level of service for all spa guests. The Lead Esthetician will split their time between the Plume spa at Black Desert Resort and Sagestone Spa at Red Mountain Resort, serving as a role model and clinical expert for both teams.
Job Specifications:
Onsite: Black Desert Resort/ Red Mountain ResortShift & Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Full-TimePay Range: $18/Hr + Commission + Service Charges. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors. With total compensation averages out to be around $34-$38/hr.
