What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Detect, mitigate, and prevent credit union fraud and operational risk using fraud detection tools and case investigation
- Assist with the monitoring and management of the regulatory compliance program, including regulatory reporting
- Review sensitive account access and monitor for potential fraud, including bill pay and external transfer fraud
- Conduct proactive account monitoring and report findings to identify fraud and illegal activities
- Maintain knowledge of credit union products, services, and promotions to ensure compliance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of six months of similar or related experience
- Associate's degree or equivalent formal certifications recognized in the industry
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster relationships and influence others
- Excellent public relations skills and knowledge of credit union services and products
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Bank Secrecy Act and Compliance certifications
- Familiarity with fraud detection tools and regulatory compliance procedures
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
