      Job Description

      Enterprise Shared Services Finance is seeking an experienced Compliance Specialist to join our team.
      This individual will act as the primary audit liaison on Enterprise Shared Services behalf. The Compliance Specialist will serve as intermediary between the businesses, internal and external audit agencies, and Enterprise Shared Services Finance. This position requires comfortability with public speaking and engagement with people as a major element of the role is day-to-day interactions with auditors, process owners and other audit focals. Additionally, this individual will serve the Enterprise Shared Services organization by performing a host of compliance monitoring activities.

      This role will have the following responsibilities:

      • Evaluate audit requests to ensure that the requests are required by law or regulation and is within scope of the specific audit.
      • Project Manage Enterprise Shared Services Finance audit responses to ensure responses are timely, align with company policy, and fully supports audit requests without scope expansion.
      • Lead or support audit kick-off meetings, entrance and exit conference meetings, process walkthroughs and process demonstrations.
      • Support Enterprise Shared Services Finance-owned audit findings corrective actions to successful closure.
      • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
      • Exercise discretion over the review and communication of confidential data.
      • Conduct labor floor check audits.
      • Examine accounting, and operational records.
      • Examine and monitor adherence to company policies and procedures.
      • Prepare audit reports to communicate results to senior leadership.
      • Prepare the Incurred Cost Supplemental Schedule B for Executive Compensation.

      This role does allow for flexibility to accommodate full-time remote, hybrid or full-time on-site in Charlotte, NC.

      Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience

      Required Skills and Education

      • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
      • 2-4 Years of Professional Experience
      • Familiarity and comfortability with auditing procedures.
      • Strong interpersonal skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
      • Project management skills: ability to multitask in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
      • Ability to work within a team environment and independently.
      • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including driving an issue to resolution.
      • Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and accountability in all work performed.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools with intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.

      Preferred Skills and Education

      • 4-7 Years of Professional Experience
      • Familiarity and comfortability with DCAA's auditing procedures.
      • Experience with Incurred Cost Audits, Accounting Systems Audits, and/or Forward Pricing Rates Audits.
      • Working knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and other government regulations.
      • Incurred Cost Proposal preparation experience
      • Negotiation skills
      • Microsoft Excel experience - VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables
