What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct surveys and investigations to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
- Gather data through interviews, observations, and record reviews
- Compile reports of findings and recommendations for corrective actions
- Provide consultation and technical assistance to facility personnel
- Assist in training and mentoring new surveyors
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be registered as a Medical Technologist
- Minimum education: Bachelor's degree in a related field with two years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree, or an Associate's degree with three years of experience
- At least one year of recent experience in a clinical laboratory role
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive in Georgia
- Proven ability to produce high-quality documentation with attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience as a Generalist with MT (ASCP) certification
- Experience in conducting assessments based on regulations and accreditation standards
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
- Critical thinking skills assessed during the interview process
