What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor sites for regulatory and company policy compliance through on-site visits
- Conduct quarterly reviews of projects with various funding sources including Tax Credit and HUD programs
- Verify compliance with Fair Housing standards and EAH policies
- Recommend corrective actions to resolve noncompliance issues
- Provide consultative services to site managers regarding compliance matters
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management or housing regulatory agency
- Experience in multi-regional property management is preferred
- Certifications such as Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), Certified Profession of Occupancy (CPO), or Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) are desirable
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws relevant to affordable multi-family housing
- Ability to understand and support EAH's mission and core values
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Additional certifications such as Site Compliance Specialist (SCS) or Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM)
- Experience working with various funding sources like AHP, RHCP, CalHFA, CDBG, NEF, and MHP
