At P&G, Computational Chemists/Engineers deliver superior products & processes to the world's consumers by utilising advanced molecular modelling. As a member of the Corporate Functions Department, you will be part of a global multi-discipline team and responsible for research, development, and deployment of advanced chemistry modelling tools, including Molecular Simulations, Cheminformatics, and Quantum Mechanics methods.

For this position, we expect you to have demonstrated experience in the following:

• Have knowledge of a wide range of molecular dynamics techniques and be able to act as an expert resource within the computational chemistry discipline.

• Linking chemistry to experimentally observed properties using molecular dynamics.

• Routinely use programming skills, including scripting languages, to enable custom analysis and workflows.

• Routinely work as part of a multidisciplinary group, communicating with scientists from different backgrounds, and working to shared deadlines.

• Location This role is based at P&G’s Reading Innovation Centre which plays an integral role not only to P&G’s European R&D footprint but also the global innovation and business plans of Personal Health Care, Shave Care and beyond. Job Qualifications

We believe you will be an excellent fit if you have:

• An MS/PhD in Computational Chemistry or Chemical Engineering

• Excellent verbal/written communication and technical skills

Strong candidates will have skills in some of the following areas to complement the skills of the team:

• Simulations of biological systems

• Modeling of chemical properties

• Docking simulations

• Automation of workflows

• Use of Machine Learning techniques

• Mastery of Python and Scripting
