What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct IT General Controls (ITGC) testing to identify procedural issues related to software configurations
- Assist stakeholders in designing and implementing IT controls to safeguard financial data
- Perform IT Benchmarking tasks to demonstrate the effectiveness of internal control environments
- Establish plans of action and milestones for identified deficiencies following DHS guidance
- Collaborate with teams to integrate security requirements into system planning and reporting

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a business field, systems engineering, computers, or related fields
- Minimum of one certification in Information Technology, such as CISA or similar
- Five years of experience in government IT financial system testing, including three years of federal internal controls ITGC experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with management and stakeholders
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust and DHS suitability

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of Federal and DHS policies, OMB A-123 attachment R-4300A, and related frameworks
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements like NIST and FISMA
- Experience leading and mentoring junior staff members
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
