Job Title: Concrete Carpenter

Job Description

Aerotek is hiring immediately for a fast-growing concrete construction company looking to hire self-motivated, experienced form carpenters and finishers. The candidate must be willing to travel approximately 60 miles from our shop, as most of our work is in Eastern MA and Southern NH. Responsibilities

• Communicate directly with the team on daily goals
• Tie rebar
• Form footings and walls
• Place and finish concrete
• Strip formwork
• Provide direction to laborers on tasks to be completed
• Assist in teaching laborers the concrete trade

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in concrete construction
• Extensive knowledge of power tools
• Possession of basic hand tools and reliable transportation
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary
• Capable of climbing on ladders and carrying at least 80 pounds
• Knowledge in floating, finishing, and leveling concrete

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with a self-performing general contractor or concrete company
• OSHA 10 certification
• Concrete form and rebar experience

Work Environment

On-site 100% of the time. Jobs are currently running between Worcester and Boston, Holyoke, Metro West, Southern NH, Manchester, and Concord. The bulk of our work is residential, but we also have projects in industrial, institutional, and retail sectors. Interviews can be conducted within 24-hour notice, and we offer competitive pay rates.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
