      Department Overview:

      Refine your videography and editing skills while adding to your portfolio! The Center for Research on College-Workforce Transition is searching for student videographers to record and edit break-out sessions at the CCWT 2024 Fall Conference on October 10, 2024!

      Schedule:

      Videographers will record sessions at CCWT's Fall Conference on October 10, 2024, edit them, and then provide them to the Center for their video resource library. A one hour lunch break will be provided. Videographers are invited and welcome to have lunch at the conference.
      Filming and editing should be completed within a total of 10 hours and by October 31, 2024.

      Salary/Wage Range/Lump Sum:

      $15.00

      Qualifications:

      • Must be an enrolled undergraduate or graduate student (in fall 2024)
      • Must have access to own equipment, including DSLR camera, HD camcorder, or new iPhone configured properly and sturdy camera tripod that extends to at least 60” tall
      • Must have access to video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro)
      • Must be punctual and reliable
      • Must be organized and able to work independently
      • Must be able to attend the CCWT 2024 Fall Conference on October 10, 2024 for the full day (about 9:00 am to 5:00 pm)

      Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

      • Major in related topic
      • Access to microphone attachment for camera
      • Experience with editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro)
      • Experience creating and editing videos

      Position Summary/Job Duties:

      Successful candidates must provide their own equipment and editing software. DSLR cameras are ideal, but HD camcorders may be used, as well. Speakers will use microphones, but an attached microphone would also be ideal, as built-in camera audio may not produce high quality videos. Camera tripods should be 60” or taller and stable when fully extended.

      Videographers will have full access to footage for videography/editing reels.

      Duties may include but not be limited to:
      • Choosing and preparing the proper equipment for the conference space;
      • Interacting with speakers and attendees to ensure high quality experience and video production;
      • Recording conference sessions; and
      • Editing recorded sessions in preparation for upload to CCWT YouTube Channel and website.

      Physical Demands:

      Venue is wheelchair accessible, but videographers may need to move throughout the building.
