What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support NASA programs by ensuring Configuration Management (CM) functions and procedures are consistently implemented
- Coordinate change requests across contracts and teams to ensure accurate data tracking and management
- Maintain and validate data within the change request process and track their status until implementation
- Conduct configuration status accounting tasks to verify configurations and support audits
- Actively participate in process improvement initiatives and perform additional duties as required

What is Required (Qualifications):
- BA/BS from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of specialized experience, or ten (10) years of specialized experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and SharePoint
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Must be customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills and experience working in integrated teams

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in Change Management and Configuration Identification, or data management/document control
- Knowledge of EIA-649, the National Consensus Standard for Configuration Management
- National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) Configuration and Data Management (CDM) certification
- Configuration Management Process Improvement Center (CMPIC) Certification
- Familiarity with CM tools and best practices for integration
