What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform initial reviews of conflict requests and collaborate with secretaries to gather precise information
- Compile and analyze conflicts reports using the firm’s internal database and external research tools
- Prepare Conflicts Summaries for attorneys outlining potential conflicts of interest
- Assist with the new business intake process and provide due diligence reports for new clients
- Maintain records for tracking conflicts review projects and ensure timely completion
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Juris Doctor degree
- Bar admission in good standing in any U.S. State or the District of Columbia
- Knowledge of rules of professional responsibility
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under pressure
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with corporate research resources such as CapitalIQ and Bureau van Dijk
- Familiarity with the Intapp Open conflicts search application
- Proficiency in Boolean searching and enterprise conflicts search applications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
