What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct patient registration, including securing required paperwork and verifying insurance documentation
- Prepare patients for examination by verifying patient information and recording medical history
- Perform preliminary physical tests for vital signs and escalate critical cases to the provider as needed
- Maintain medical records and ensure the reception area is well-maintained
- Perform opening and closing duties, including cashing out and securing the building

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at the time of hire
- One of the following certifications required (or must obtain within 15 months of hire): CCMA, CMA, RMA, NCMA, or NRCMA
- Medical Assistant experience preferred
- Ability to type quickly and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Graduate of a Medical Assisting Program
- Front Desk experience preferred
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing or LPN or RN
- EMT - Emergency Medical Technician certification
- CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant certification
