      Job Title: Construction Laborer

      Job Description

      Your primary role will be moving heavy machinery and general labor at a new construction site. You will be utilizing miscellaneous rigging equipment to install process tools (semiconductor equipment) and pedestals (metal support structures) into a clean room environment while maintaining cleanliness standards exceeding those of a hospital operating room. Your responsibilities will also include transporting delicate equipment in an operational clean room factory with extremely tight clearances, adhering to all OSHA and customer safety standards. You may also work in disassembling tools. Part of your role may involve working on an open dock area which can be hot in the summer. This includes unloading, uncrating, and moving equipment into dedicated wipe-down areas for installation into the clean room factory.

      Work Environment

      You will be working at a new construction site which is currently all dirt with no paved roadways. You must be comfortable working outdoors in the heat. You will move equipment into a building so will be covered while indoors, however, there is no air conditioning inside. The work schedule is intense with 60 hour work weeks. You will be expected to work 10-12 hours days (sometimes 13-14 depending on the workload), from 6:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Saturday. Every third week, you will have Saturday off. This role will require a lot of walking, averaging about 25,000 steps per day (equates to 11+ miles). You will need to have steel toe boots. On the first day, you will need to bring a 10" adjustable crescent wrench and a minimum 16-foot tape measure. You will go through an orientation and a drug screening before starting at the site, typically resulting in a 2-3 day wait after orientation.
