A Construction Manager is needed for a leader in the world of Technical Services and Engineering in the Houston, TX area. The role oversees and directs field construction activities, leads a team managing major projects, ensures adherence to budgets and schedules, and maintains strong client and community relations.

responsibilities:
- Lead a team overseeing construction management of major projects.
- Facilitate on-site field construction activities performed by the General Contractor.
- Apply methods and techniques for construction management.
- Handle field administration duties.
- Direct overall planning of construction activities to identify critical milestones and priorities.
- Determine budget estimates and staffing requirements.
- Monitor General Contractor's manpower, materials, and equipment to maintain project schedule.
- Take preventative action to ensure critical milestones are met.
- Prepare periodic reports and formal presentations on construction progress.
- Implement Company and client policies and procedures, including labor relations policies.
- Act as primary contact with government representatives for construction activities.
- Maintain strong client and community relations.
Qualifications: - 10+ years of experience in field construction.
- Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in commercial and/or industrial project construction.
- Extensive knowledge of construction processes and industry practices.
- Effective managerial capability.
- strong written and oral communication skills.
