What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee planning, budgeting, and execution of campus construction projects
- Develop and manage cost estimates, schedules, and procurement plans for construction projects
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and enforce quality control
- Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Manage all project documentation and facilitate project closeout procedures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in higher education, healthcare, or commercial real estate
- Strong experience in hiring, negotiating, and managing relationships with contractors and consultants
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership and facilities teams
- Proven track record of managing and delivering projects on time and within budget
