      Trophy Point, a division of YA, provides Pre-Construction consulting services with an emphasis on Construction Cost Estimating services. Through the estimates provided and Trophy Point's knowledge of construction, the organization works with its customers to aid in the alignment of scope and budget on a given project.

      Summary:

      As a Construction Scheduler, you will coordinate, manage, and analyze pre-construction and construction schedules for various projects. Trophy Point Schedulers collaborate with Owners, State Agencies, Architects, Engineers, Construction Managers and General Contractors to translate diverse project information into detailed timelines. Construction Schedulers are expected to use a large measure of independent judgement, considering, and weighing alternatives when appropriate, taking into account the financial and operational significance of the services being performed.

      Role & Responsibilities:

      • Review and organize large amounts of construction project documents and data, such as drawings and specifications.
      • Participate in all phases of the construction planning & scheduling process, including the customer kick off meetings, development of schedules, and ongoing schedule updates.
      • Builds schedules in Primavera P6 using narratives, paper drawings, and more.
      • Generate Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules assigning duration and timelines based on understanding of construction, historical data, and client input.
      • Generate and maintain cost loaded schedules.
      • Operate on behalf of clients to monitor and manage timelines, expenses, and other factors critical to operational efficiency and cost management during all phases of construction.
      • Delivers reports and follow-ups with customer.
      • Maintain job files, documentation, and other relevant deliverables.
      • Review and synthesize relevant information to aid in the preparation of technical project reports.
      • Process complex information, communicating clearly and presenting work confidently to diverse audiences.
      • Assess the impact of project changes and schedule delays, effectively communicating findings (eg time impact analyses).
      • Interface with other department employees, contractors, and clients on a regular basis.
      • Participate in project closeout efforts, collecting and documenting required closeout items.
      • Other duties as assigned.


      Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
      • 3+ years' experience required, including scheduling or other relevant field work.
      • Ability to read and comprehend construction documents.
      • Experience using critical path method (CPM) techniques to analyze construction project schedules.
      • Proficient in the use of Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Suite.
      • Knowledge of construction means and methods and their impacts to cost and schedule.
      • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interface with various stakeholders and clients.
      • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage changing priorities.
