      THE ROLE:

      We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Construction Superintendent to join our growing construction team in Calgary, AB. You will play a pivotal role in managing the execution of earthworks construction as well as the maintenance of company roads, leases, bridges, and mine sites. This dynamic role requires a professional individual with solid field experience, complemented by the versatility and leadership skills necessary to navigate and manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role requires significant travel to site as needed.

      HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE :

      • Lead the construction of roads, leases, plant sites and water storage ponds
      • Support the surface development planning, including civil earthworks design
      • Develop project scope of work documents, schedules, and estimates
      • Provide consultation to internal stakeholders regarding the progress of projects
      • Identify opportunities to improve services by evaluating processes and procedures
      • Ensure field activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with all applicable regulatory requirements

      WHAT YOU BRING:

      • At least 15 years of related industry experience
      • Minimum of 5 years of direct field experience is required
      • Extensive technical knowledge of earthworks design and specifications
      • Post secondary education in natural resource management, engineering, civil construction, or project management is an asset
      • Total commitment to a safety-first attitude
      • Strong computer skills, including experience with Siteview and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project)
      • Ability to travel to Northeast British Columbia (monthly during active operations)
      • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with a diverse client group
      • A valid Class 5 (or equivalent) driver’s license and a clean driving record
