Qualifications

Essential

• MBChB or equivalent
• Relevant specialist qualification or equivalent
• Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or equivalent or within 6 months of gaining CCT in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or Learning Disability
• Section 12(2) Approval

Knowledge

Essential

• Appropriate training and experience in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Experience in learning disability

Training

Essential

• Basic experience in management eg trainee rotas
• Clear involvement in audit/service improvement

Desirable

• Understanding of NHS management responsibilities of consultants
