Description We are seeking a full-time Consultation Specialist to join our team remotely. We are interested in attorneys, former attorneys, law school graduates, and anyone with a demonstrated interest in criminal law, with or without experience. This is a sales position, so prior sales experience is especially helpful, including retail, as a server, or in a call center. This is a REMOTE position.

Responsibilities Consultation Specialists play a key role in converting leads into clients by conducting in-depth discussions with the leads about their cases. This position serves as the next step after the initial intake, helping to gather case details and ensure leads understand our services. The Consultation Specialist provides leads with expertise on our law firm and shares successful outcomes we've achieved for other clients by following a "roadmap" that we provide. The goal is to offer legal insight, explain the justice system, and emphasize the importance of having representation. This role ensures a smooth transition from lead to client, allowing attorneys to focus on case management. The Consultation Specialist must be empathetic, professional, and committed to giving each lead the information they need to make an informed decision about moving forward with the firm. This is the key sales position in the firm.
The responsibilities for this position include the following:
• Conducting consultations with potential new clients via telephone and Zoom.
• Managing and utilizing our intake software, which is Lead Docket. Familiarize yourself with the lead case details and criminal history.
• Understanding pricing structures, including upcharges, payment plans, and bundled service options.
• Processing payments and ensuring proper documentation of financial agreements.
• Communicating with leads about case fundamentals, law enforcement involvement, consultations, and pricing.
• Maintaining contact with pending leads.
• Meeting daily lead consultation targets.
• Revising and improving the intake process.
• Working closely with the team of Intake Specialists, including meeting daily to review new policies, workflows, priorities.
Qualifications The ideal person to fill this role will be an organized, responsible, honest self-starter with a positive attitude who is eager to learn and motivated to obtain the best possible outcomes for clients. This is primarily a sales role, so you should be a "people person" who takes initiative and likes sales. Other requirements include:
• Excellent with computers and technology, including LeadDocket, Word, Excel, database software, and Outlook.
• Outstanding on the telephone
• Strong knowledge of criminal law, courts, and law enforcement agencies.
